As construction progresses on Savanna Hall, the seven-story rental rising in Washington Heights, an affordable lottery has been announced for the studio apartments within. Twenty-five units will be reserved for formerly homeless single adults, and another twenty-five will be set aside for youths aging out of the foster care system. The remaining twenty-two units will provide affordable housing to single adults earning up to 60 percent of the area median income. All interested parties have until December 3, 2018 to apply. Further information and the rental application can be found at Lantern Communities.
