A long vacant lot at the corner of Prospect Place and Grand Avenue in Prospect Heights is being improved with a four-story residential condo designed by Issac & Stern Architects. The project, known as 406 Prospect Place, is being developed by Level One Holdings and per their project page, the 5,000-square-foot venture will contain 3 residential units and will be delivered in fall 2017.

The sole rendering of the project shows the units will have large windows and bronze-colored fins and mullions will accent the grey-brick façade. The ground floor will hold a 900-square-foot corner retail space that is being marketed by the brokerage firm Loopnet.

The development won’t be the only new development on the triangular block formed by the intersection of Washington Avenue and Grand Street. At the block’s prow, on a parcel addressed at 656 Grand Street, a 7-story, 22-unit residential development is planned. The block is 5-blocks away from the acclaimed Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park.
