In 2014, it was leaked that Albert Shirian’s Lions Group NYC will be building a 14-story, 40-unit rental tower at 229 Lexington Avenue. The site sits midblock between East 33rd and 34th streets at the intersection of NoMad, Kips Bay and Murray Hill. Now the project has finally gone vertical and topped out construction within the last several weeks.
The shimmering design was shaped by C3D Architecture, who explain the street facade features full height structural glass windows and accentuated metal antique bronze finish frames. Inside will be 40 apartments numbering just 2 or 3 per floor.

Concurrently, Lions Group NYC is building several new developments in Queens such as the condo One Queens Plaza and 27-01 Jackson Avenue. C3D is juggling a number of projects throughout the city such as the nearby rentals at 543 Second Avenue and Theater House at 237 East 34th Street.
