In the shadow of Two Trees’ Domino Sugar Refinery redevelopment, the multi-faceted firm of Flank has started construction on a pair of mixed-use buildings in Williamsburg. The two properties, addressed at 360 Wythe (60 South 2nd Street) and 320 Wythe, are located a block apart and will sport simple, complementing designs. Renderings posted on each of their construction fences show clean, utilitarian facades of orange brick with glass storefronts at ground level.

According to Flank’s page on the project, the buildings will hold retail and boutique offices with the larger 5-story building at 360 Wythe holding 28 rental apartments along its top two floors. There will also be a parking garage at the cellar level and both buildings will have several outdoor space opportunities.
360 Wythe replaces a coffee shop, a pilates studio, and the Crown Victoria bar while 320 Wythe replaces two furniture stores. The buildings are slated for completion in the 4Q of 2018.
