The 11-story Soori High Line at 522 West 29th Street
in Chelsea
has been under construction for a few years now and is expected to finish in 2017. Previously, only interior renderings of the residences were available despite the luxury building's sales launch in 2014. We now have a first look at new photos of model apartments, appearing on both SCDA Architects and Soori High Line's official website. Soo K. Chan, founder of Singapore-based architecture firm, has created an elegant glass, wood and dark metal facade as well as the in-unit heated pools that come equipped in 16 of the 31 total residences. This $70 million project is headed by a joint endeavor between NYC-based Siras Development and Singapore-based Oriel Development.

Chan designed the interiors to work seamlessly with the exterior of his design. According to the firm's site, interiors seek to subvert our notions of interior and exterior space by integrating the 20-25' ionized salt water swimming pools into the units. Natural elements of water, fire and light are also hybridized in the design, merging with the western ideal of luxurious living. Homes feature open and inspired interiors for sanctuary living, 10- to nearly 20-foot-tall ceilings, timber clad walls, built-in shelving, full height windows and Town and Country fireplaces.

There are currently six units on the market. Two-bedroom residences start at $3.5 million, three-bedrooms at $6.995 million and five-bedrooms at $10.875 million. The under-construction building is located near the High Line and features a full-time doorman, concierge, fitness center, laundry room, library, bike room and a wine cellar/tasting area.
