Good things always come in small packages says the development team of Casetta Williamsburg — a boutique 12-unit condominium in Brooklyn at 630 Lorimer Street. The two 4-story buildings rise side by side between Jackson Street and Skillman Avenue, two blocks north of the neighborhood’s Lorimer Street subway station and near a multitude of cultural venues, restaurants, and trendy nightlife and shopping destinations.
Though small in stature, Casetta has big design aspirations and will flaunt an ODA New York-designed hi-tech exterior. The architectural firm has penned top-notch condo developments in Manhattan such as 93 Worth Street and 15 Union Square West that employ their innovative architectural solutions of configuring space. Here in East Williamsburg, the firm has designed a vision machine of sorts, specifying large windows set behind an orthogonal metal structure and abacus-like screens. “The thoughtfully designed façade offers passersby a contextual and artful interpretation of a modern Brooklyn townhouse,” says the sales team.

Citi Habitats New Development is handling sales and marketing for the building. While interior images have yet to be revealed, Citi Habitats says residents will enjoy “the perfect combination of light and air, inviting layouts and designer details packaged into a serene and intimate setting.” Sales of the 12 residences will officially launch this June, but two one-bedroom listings have already leaked online: Unit #202 is a 595-square-foot home overlooking Lorimer Street and is priced at $735K. Unit #201 is similar in size but overlooks the rear garden and is priced at $715K.

In addition to one-bedroom residences, there will be duplex garden townhouses, and two bi-level penthouses. All homes feature oversized floor-to-ceiling windows and stackable in-unit washers and dryers. Custom kitchens come equipped with high-end appliances from Liebherr, Smeg, and Summit, and baths feature deep soaking bathtubs, and imported tile and stone finishes.

Amenities will include a virtual doorman building entry system, storage rooms available for purchase and private outdoor spaces available in select residences.
