Features

For the week of December 9, 2018, there were a total of 195 condo and co-op closings recorded in Manhattan totaling to $441,239,974. The 91 recorded condo sales came in at an average price of $3.82 million and $1,975 per ft². The 105 co-op sales came in at an average price of $928,190. See table and map of all Manhattan closings recorded last week below.

Similar to last week, five of the top ten sales came in buildings designed by Robert A.M Stern Architects. This week, a penthouse closing at 70 Vestry Street leads the pack. Not only is it the biggest closing in the building so far, but the most expensive private residential sale ever recorded downtown. Other Stern-designed buildings in the top 10 are 220 Central Park South, 520 Park Avenue, and the Four Season Downtown at 30 Park Place. Read our chat with RAMSA partner Paul Whalen on the firm's design rationale and to see all their NYC condo projects.
