For several months after construction topped out on both towers of One High Line, Bjarke Ingels Group's contribution to the West Chelsea skyline, further work stalled between the pandemic-induced lockdown and difficulties with the original developer. But after new developers Witkoff Group and Access Industries bought the project in December 2021, construction has resumed and sales are going great guns: Almost exactly one month after a penthouse in the all-residential West Tower entered contract, another West Tower penthouse had the top contract from May 29 - June 4, 2023 with an asking price of $30,000,000.

While Olshan Realty's market report notes that the penthouse at One High Line was reduced from $34 million when marketing began in 2018, it nevertheless had the top contract by a comfortable margin. The second-highest contract was for 740 Park Avenue's Residence #10/11C, which entered contract with an asking price of $23,750,000. The four-bedroom duplex at the Rosario Candela-designed "Tower of Power" was the top co-op contract of the past week, and features include a private elevator vestibule, dramatic staircase, wood-burning fireplace, primary suite with private terrace, and endless storage throughout. Neither the buyer nor seller were identified, but Olshan notes that the seller paid over $7 million for the apartment in 1995.
