The Fourth of July holiday resulted in a shorter business week, and consequently fewer real estate sales recorded for the week ending July 7, 2023. However, that was still enough time for recently converted loft condominium 67 Vestry Street to make an impression with a full-floor condo selling for $24,498,000. This came in $548K above the $23.95 million price listed in the building's initial offering plan, which also lists Residence #6 as having six bedrooms, five and a half baths, and 5,794 interior square feet. Public records identify the buyer as Arsenal Capital Partners co-founder Jeffrey Kovach.
The full-floor apartment at 67 Vestry had the past week's top sale by a comfortable margin. The second-highest sale, Penthouse #2CD at Yorkville luxury condominium The Brompton, ultimately closed for $12,772,500, or 11.9% below the asking price of $14.5 million when it entered contract earlier this spring. The apartment is a custom combination of two penthouses into one massive home with seven bedrooms, seven and a half baths, and nearly 6,000 interior square feet. The buyer and seller both conducted the transaction through LLCs.
