For the week of February 3, a total of 193 condos and co-op closings recorded in Manhattan came in at $344,592,185. The 57 condo sales reported totaled $176,419,335 and came in at an average of $3.095M, or $1,436 per ft2. The 136 co-op sales reported totaled $168,172,850 and came in at an average of $1.237M, or $1,109 per ft2.

For the most part, eye-catching new condominium like 520 Park Avenue, 212 Fifth Avenue, and The Four Seasons Private Residences attracted a lot of attention and money. However, stalwarts like Sherry Netherland Hotel and The White House show that beautiful prewar buildings with prime Central Park access should never be counted out.
