The 15-story building, which is also known as 1 East 86th Street and 2-4 East 87th Street, has 86 apartments and was designed by Sugarman & Berger for Sisbrothers Inc., of which Norbert Natanson was president. Sisbrothers sold it in 1950 to Whitehouse Realty Associates, headed by Walter Hirshon.
