Hello Lenox is bringing more high-rise apartments to humbly-scaled Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. Positioned midblock at 271 Lenox Road between Nostrand and Rogers avenues, the 15-floor building will offer a mix of two- and three-bedroom rental units when finished later this year. The project is being developed by Eli Karp’s Hello Living and is located several blocks south of their recently finished condo Hello New York and just north of Hello Albemarle and Hello Nostrand. The project was initially planned as a condominium but Hello Living’s website now says the building will contain 56 luxury rentals.

A recent visit to the site reveals that the building has now topped off and is by far the largest on its block. At 172-feet-tall, the building is Hello Living’s tallest to date. Its modern exterior designed by Brooklyn-based Loadingdock5 is dominated by bands of glass balconies. Like many of the developer’s other projects, the apartments will have open layouts, private elevator access and balconies with terrific views over Brooklyn.
Amenities will include parking for 33-vehicles, a fitness center and a large communal terrace and garden outfitted with grills and a pool table. The Winthrop Street station of the 2 and 5 trains is located two short blocks away. There, commuters can catch an under 30 min. ride to Manhattan.
