Directly across the street from one of the world's most famous green spaces, construction is wrapping up on a dignified new condominium development at 145 Central Park North. The building topped out at 135'5" feet and 13 stories one year ago, and since then, much of the eye-catching façade honed by GLUCK+ has been installed. The first nine floors feature a bronze-toned grid of metal elements framing double-height rows of floor-to-ceiling windows. The top four floors above feature a series of terraced setbacks and are fully-glazed to allow occupants to take in far-reaching Central Park views.
According to the developer, "The goal was to design and construct a building of elegance, stature, and lasting value all while allowing each unit to embrace the specter of Central Park with the added bonus of the midtown skyline to the south and a panoramic view of Harlem and beyond to the north."

All of the project's 37 apartments will have incredible light and lush Central Park views. The first floor is devoted to common spaces and above there will be no more than four apartments per floor. A short list of amenities includes off-street parking for nine vehicles, tenant storage, a bike room, fitness center, and terraces with million-dollar views.
Residents will also enjoy easy access to several subway lines that include the 2,3 express lines located at the eastern end of the block and B and C local lines one block to the west. Many local restaurants and bars can be found nearby along Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Lenox Avenue. The area of Central Park at the building's doorstep is set to embark on a $150 million renovation by the Central Park Conservancy that will improve the parkland, add a new boardwalk along the man-made lake known as Harlem Meer, and build a new recreation facility to replace the Lasker pool and skating rink. An offering plan under the name 145 North Woods Condominium was filed in August 2019, but its approval and details of its total sellout are still pending. However, nearby new developments hint at pricing. It is down the block from Circa Central Park, where a $9.4 million penthouse set a new record for most expensive uptown condo sale; remaining availabilities range from $1.15 million for a one-bedroom to $8.295 million for a five-bedroom penhouse. It is also a few doors up from 111 Central Park North, where the its three most recent sales came to an average of $1,984 per square foot. The area has also just welcomed a new condominium to 10 Lenox Avenue, where remaining availabilities start at
$725,000.
