The building is included in the Tribeca South Historic District and a presentation prepared for a public hearing on Tuesday, October 30th 2018 under the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission shows renderings for a penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows and a curtain wall of glass and blackened steel. The building’s roof is currently unused and the plans for the addition are from architect Jonathan Schloss.

At 74 Reade Street, a cooperative, a two-story addition was added to the original five-story structure and inside, a 1 bed/1 bath layout is listed for $850,000.
