In May 2013, an entity known as Somer Group Realty LLC bought a vacant lot at 151 Somers Street, two blocks from the Broadway Junction subway station, for $210K (per Acris). Five years later, sales have launched at the four-story, eight-unit boutique condo that has risen on the site. Sion Associates was the architect of record.

The most appealing aspect of the apartments is perhaps a 25-year 421a tax abatement. However, the interiors are not to be ignored. The building has a laundry room in the basement and select units have private balconies. The building is located a stone's throw away from the Broadway Junction transit hub which serves the A,C, J, Z and L trains.

An offering plan accepted by the attorney general listed a $3.836 million sellout. To that end, a one-bedroom is listed for $499K, and two-bedrooms start at $575K. At an average of $724 per square foot, apartments at 151 Somers Street come in just below the Bedford-Stuyvesant average of $792 per square foot (per CityRealty data).
