In the booming Queens Plaza section of Long Island City, a 16-story tower at 41-21 28th Street has quietly risen between Queens Plaza North and 41st Avenue. All Year Management paid $17 million for the parcel in 2014 and initially enlisted the prolific Karl Fischer Architect (KFA) as the designers. Now the team has tapped the design sensitives of the Meshberg Group who will enclose the structure in a timeless red-brick façade that pays homage to light-industrial factory buildings common throughout the neighborhood.

Recently published images from the Meshberg Group show the façade will be articulated by detailed brick-work, multi-pane windows with lintels and brick cornices. The building rises in three masses and will be topped by a three-floor section with large windows framed by red and white brickwork.
