The once record-breaking penthouse residence at Sky Lofts in Tribeca is now back on the market with a price tag of $45 million. Curbed reports that the apartment sold for $30.5 million in 2009, which at the time, was the most expensive condo sale in Manhattan below Columbus Circle. Despite this recognition, the current owner, William Duker, has listed the apartment several times over the past years with no luck. This time around, Duker has enlisted celebrity broker Raphael De Niro of Douglas Elliman. While his father gave him a famous last name, De Niro has found his own success by becoming the "it" broker for hard-to-sell listings. However, one would think this glassy 7,493-square-foot penthouse packed with amenities practically sells itself.

The 4-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom residence was created by NY architect James Carpenter, the same designer of 7 World Trade Center. It has a 4,500-square-foot wraparound terrace, a ton of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, and features unique details like UV-coated high-performance, museum-quality insulated glass. In true penthouse luxury, future buyers will get to enter the residence through a private key-locked elevator and park their car in one of three private dedicated parking spots.
