The 14,500-square-foot penthouse with 22-foot ceilings is entered via private elevator landing on the 32nd floor, where it spans the building’s entire 32nd and 33rd floors. The sprawling chef’s kitchen features Calacatta Gold marble countertops and backsplash, top-of-the-line appliances, a butler’s pantry, dining area, after-dinner lounge, and pass-through wine room with capacity for over 600 bottles.
However, the penthouse will be delivered mostly raw to accommodate any number of configurations, including a seven-bedroom home. Communication-themed murals from the building’s time as the Verizon headquarters are still in the lobby, which underwent a tasteful renovation by Jeffrey Beers International. Developers Magnum Group and CIM Group added an abundance of amenities including, but by no means limited to, a lap pool, landscaped terraces with 360-degree city views, wine-tasting rooms, billiards room, fitness center, and children’s playroom. And appropriately enough for the former home of Verizon, one-gig-per-second internet is available throughout the building.
