Between Election Day on November 7 and the observance of Veterans' Day on November 10, the business week in New York was a little shorter by default. However, that did not prevent significant sales from taking place during this time.

277 Fifth Avenue will soon be overshadowed as the avenue's highest by the nearby supertall at 262 Fifth Avenue, but had the top spot for the second week of November 2023 with a $35,080,000 sale that appears to have taken place off-market. The price includes two upper-level penthouse units and a one-bedroom unit on the eleventh floor, the latter of which will presumably be used as a staff or guest unit. The buyer purchased these sponsor units through an LLC. Three blocks away, a four-bedroom condo at 50 Madison Avenue had the week's fourth-highest sale at $9,000,000.
Beyond NoMad, it was a good week for luxury condos on the Upper West Side. The second-highest sale took place at The Belnord, where a four-bedroom duplex residence with views of the world-famous courtyard closed for $13,850,000. It was closely trailed by another four-bedroom, this one at local skyline standout 200 Amsterdam Avenue, that closed for an even $12,000,000.
Rounding out the top five was #W16A at One High Line, which sold for $7,315,000. According to the two-towered development's offering plan, the apartment has three bedrooms, three and a half baths, and 2,423 interior square feet. It also had an offering price of $7,635,000.
