New York City is still not ready to reopen, but preparations are underway as we wait for May 28, the end date of the most recent PAUSE order. However, there is no definite date for the return of the city's usual economy and real estate market. As of this writing, there are only 5,701 Manhattan listings on the market with a median price of $2.49 million for condos (or $1,836 per square foot) and $930K for co-ops.

Over the past seven days, 106 condos, co-ops, townhouses throughout New York saw their prices slashed to attract a wider group of buyers, some of whom might wish to take advantage of both lower prices and historically low-interest rates. Please be advised that all figures reflect cumulative price cuts and not the most recent reductions.
