As of this writing, CityRealty listings show 8,288 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale throughout Manhattan, northern Brooklyn, western Queens, and parts of the Bronx. Since the beginning of November 2022, the median Manhattan condo price has climbed to $2,585,000 ($1,891 per square foot). The median Manhattan co-op price has also risen to $982,528.

From November 30-December 6, 2022, a total of 291 sales listings throughout New York experienced price reductions. Among them was 35 Charlton Street, the Soho townhouse owned by disgraced comedian Louis C.K. He initially listed the townhouse in fall 2022 for $8.5 million in the wake of a move to a Fifth Avenue apartment, and it was reduced to $6.5 million last week. If it sells for that price, he would break even; public records indicate that he purchased it for $6.5 million in 2012.
