From the time it was on the drawing board, Lantern House attracted attention for its unique take on bay windows and High Line-adjacent address. As time passed and construction progressed, it garnered further notice for its well-planned interiors and luxury amenities.
However, this may not have translated into the sales numbers some would have hoped to see. Lantern House took shape in an extremely saturated market. Between its soaring height and more generous amenity package, next-door neighbor One High Line appears to have stolen some of its thunder, not to mention the best of its river views. Against this backdrop, five sponsor units at Lantern House had their prices reduced.
