As of August 4, 2021, CityRealty listings show 9,215 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale in core areas of New York. The Manhattan median condo price comes to $2,281,676, or $1,790 per square foot. The median Manhattan co-op price is $875,374.

The numbers come shortly after New York announced a new policy requiring proof of vaccination to enter indoor entertainment venues, eat indoors at a restaurant, and exercise at a gym. This was conceived to boost vaccination rates and allow the city to stay open safely, all factors that will make living in New York a more appealing prospect.

In such an environment, more listings are now having their prices increased rather than decreased. Nevertheless, a total of 195 sales listings experienced price reductions. A full, sortable chart may be found below.
