Just east of Herald Square and north of Koreatown, between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, a new 41-story mixed-use building is rising at 38 West 33rd Street. Slated to reach a height of 465 feet, this Midtown building will offer 223 (likely rental) apartments and 5,721 square feet of retail space. The site, purchased in 2007 by ABH Realty Corp for $30 million, is being developed by the Torkian Group, and Stephen B. Jacobs Group is the architect.
Residences will be located on the 4th through 39th floors. The top two levels will hold the building’s amenities including a gym, spa, sauna, and rooftop amenity space. There will also be a bike storage room and third floor community terrace. Builders are expecting completion in early 2017.
