Construction is moving apace at a ground-up Hell's Kitchen condo building at 409 West 45th Street. The team recently topped off the building's 76-foot-high, 7-story steel structural frame and development will ultimately hold seven floor-through residences across 11,872 square feet. New Empire Real Estate Development is the developer of the project, which replaces a former parking lot they picked up for $5.2 million in 2014. The firm tapped Tony Onyeagoro's Building Consulting Engineering for the design. When finished next year, the full floor residences will feature tall, floor-to-ceiling windows and large terraces on each floor. The units will range from 500 to 1,200 square feet with sales prices still to be determined
