Clinton Hill's newest condominium, Waverly Brooklyn, recently launched sales with market-rate homes starting from $595,000. Our blog 6sqft has also revealed that the building located at 500 Waverly Avenue will have a housing lottery for 11 below-market-rate homes. Its total of 48 apartments span 7 stories and feature open, lofty living areas.
Development firm Orange Management purchased the property in 2013 for just over $9 million, and transformed it from a parking lot to a boutique condominium. Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel Architects (GKV) are the designers and crafted a composite façade that draws inspiration from Bauhaus modernism and features an interplay of articulated fenestration and Norman brick.
