East Flatbush's 115 Erasmus Street is finally nearing completion. The ground-up development is being designed by Orli Eshkar and developed by Matt Katz under the LLC 111-115 Erasmus. The building's dynamic design will be a modern addition to the short block between Nostrand and Rogers Avenue. The project's original completion date was slated for the summer of 2016 but due to delays, it's only now that the project can confidently anticipate opening its doors to residents.
Looking at the artist renderings, the building's facade will boast a thoroughly modern palette of neutral tones juxtaposed to beer-bottle-green glass. A three-story, three-window column seems to be sectioned off with a dramatic, dark-brown border, and each level adorned with medium-sized windows and a generously-sized balcony allotted to each apartment. Promont is the project's general contractor and their recently-published construction shots show that the balconies are awaiting their final "green" touches before the building realizes its full potential outlined in the rendering.
