Built in 1912 as the McAlpin Hotel and debuting as the largest hotel in the world, the historic structure at 50 West 34th Street has had many transformations over the years and now serves as a collection of rentals known as The Herald Towers.

The reimagined building, which was once the home of Jackie Robinson, is in the heart of Midtown Manhattan and stands 26 stories tall in the shadow of the Empire State Building. Inside are approximately 700 spacious apartments with flexible layouts of up to three bedrooms. Residents have access to a collection of convenient amenities (in the process of being upgraded) such as on-site dry cleaning and tailoring services. Additionally, ground-level tenants include a GameStop, the Gap, and soon-to-come this holiday season, a large Century 21 pop-up store at the corner of 34th Street and Broadway.

Additionally, lease terms are flexible and include 6-month, one-year, and 18-month lease terms. All listings are no fee and the building is offering $1,000 deposits for qualified renters.. Interiors feature generous, open layouts with ceiling heights of at least 9 feet, hardwood flooring, walk-in closets and in-unit climate control. Fully equipped kitchens come with a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher, and both kitchens and baths have been renovated in many units.

Building amenities include 24-hour concierge, a private rooftop sundeck on the 26th floor, a fitness center with a weight room and televisions, and activities like yoga classes, ping pong and more. Common areas, including the lobby and elevators, are newly renovated and provide a welcoming and warm environment.
