The 155 Condominium, 155 East 38th Street: Review and Ratings

between Lexington Avenue & Third Avenue View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 155 East 38th Street by Carter Horsley

This pleasant, 19-story, white-brick apartment building was erected in 1960. It is a condominium and has 176 units.

It has a good Murray Hill location and is next to a wonderful three-story former stable building with a sculpture of a bulldog on its façade and down the street from a very elegant 1940 townhouse setback in a small garden.

This building has a doorman, and sidewalk landscaping, and some terraces. It has a one-story, dark-green marble entrance surround and discrete air-conditioning. It has no balconies and no garage.

Public transportation is several blocks away as is Grand Central Terminal.
