The Wilshire is a 9 story Murray Hill rental completed in 1985 on the former site of the Adams Memorial Presbyterian Church. The church later became a celebrated Columbia Records studio where Miles Davis recorded “Kind of Blue,” alongside sessions for Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story,” Glenn Gould’s “Goldberg Variations,” and Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited.”
