An early design for 20 Great Jones Street, a site on the corner of Lafayette Street, shows a 16-story building towering over its nearest neighbors but reflecting the surrounding prewar architecture in its oversized windows. The massing steps back on upper-level corners to create a striking silhouette at street level and garden terraces for the residents.
The project is to feature ground-floor retail space and 199 residential units, a portion of which will be affordable. It is located in close proximity to The Public Theater, designer shopping and fine dining in Nolita, and the Bleecker Street 6 and B/D/F/M trains.

In November 2025, developers Edward J. Minskoff Equities and Edison Properties announced plans for a luxury rental project for 375 Lafayette Street, which is now a parking lot on the corner of Great Jones and Lafayette Streets in Noho. Owing to the wage requirements of the 485-x affordable housing tax break, the 238 planned units will be divided between two buildings. The team plans to start construction in early 2027, and completion is estimated for 2029.
