King & Sullivan Red Hook Townhomes is a collection of 22 single family townhouses located mid block between Coffey Park and Van Brunt Street at 107-125 King Street and 74-85 Sullivan Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Designed by AA Studio and developed by Sanba, the project was completed in 2016 on a vacant lot. The development features five distinct modern façades incorporating arches, steel, corten steel, brick, and terra cotta, creating a textured and varied streetscape that reflects the neighborhood's industrial heritage.
Each four story townhouse offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with 10 foot ceilings on every floor and 7 inch white oak flooring throughout. The parlor floor features an open concept layout with living room, dining area, and kitchen, anchored by a gas fireplace. French doors lead from the living room to a private deck and landscaped backyard. A skylit atrium over the open staircase floods the homes with natural light. The gourmet kitchens are outfitted with Dada cabinetry, Carrara marble islands, and integrated Bosch and Thermador appliances.
The master suites include walk in closets and ensuite bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate showers. Additional bedrooms are located on the upper floors alongside a full size laundry room. A standout feature is the roof deck, which provides views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. One unit features a custom fabricated sculptural staircase in steel and white oak, and at least one home includes a Tesla charger.
Each residence includes a curb cut and private parking spot directly in front, plus storage space that can accommodate multiple bicycles or a Vespa. The townhouses are pet friendly and situated within walking distance of Van Brunt Street's shops, galleries, and restaurants, with ferry service providing access to Manhattan. The development integrates the historical and contemporary character of Red Hook, a waterfront neighborhood experiencing ongoing growth.
