125 Riverside Drive is a 12 story, 100 apartment rental building completed in 1907 on the Upper West Side. Designed by S. B. Ogden & Company, it was built with the adjoining 120 Riverside Drive as the Turrets Apartments; the two wings share an entrance and related architectural treatment.
The façade is organized around large rounded window bays, a rusticated limestone base, pronounced bandcourses, and arched top floor windows beneath a scalloped cornice. The rounded bays shape many of the living rooms and give the Riverside Drive elevation its defining form.
High ceilings, hardwood floors, broad living spaces, and ample storage recur in the apartments. Corner layouts have triple exposures and Hudson River views, while decorative fireplaces appear in both one and two bedroom homes. Many apartments also have in-unit laundry.
The attended lobby has a 24 hour doorman, and the building also maintains a laundry room and a live-in superintendent. Pets are permitted. Riverside Park is directly across the street, and the 1 train stops at 86th Street and Broadway.
