This very handsome and ornate, 7-story, cast-iron building with Corinthian columns at 62 Wooster Street in SoHo was erected in 1862 and was remodeled in 2015 by developer Jeff Greene and COOKFOX Architects into 7 condominium loft apartments.

The building has ground-floor retail space.

An impressive 1862 cast-iron building in SoHo with large apartments all redone by COOKFOX in 2015.

Description

The building has a very attractive cast-iron façade with a roof pediment and large windows.

Amenities

The building has a virtual doorman, storage, washers and dryers in units, an elevator and permits pets.

Apartments

The duplex penthouse has 6 bedrooms and 6,900 square feet and two large terraces with a 40-foot-long pool and an outdoor kitchen and a 47-foot-wide great room.

Apartment 5 is a four-bedroom unit with 5,874 square feet with a 47-foot-wide, great room with an open kitchen with an island and a 24-foot-long gallery.

Apartment 2A is a two-bedroom unit has 3,100 square feet, 14-foot ceilings, and a 34-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen with an island.  It has exposed brick walls and 12-inch-wide white oak plank floors.  It has Nanz kitchen hardware with Calacutta marble slabs and Gaggenau and Viking kitchen appliances. It also has Toto toilets.

Apartment 3B is a two-bedroom unit with 2,411 square feet, a 29-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen with an island and a home office.
