In the West Village, a combined townhouse at 105-107 Bank Street has been listed for $75 million, a price that could break Downtown townhouse records. Developer RoundSquare Builders acquired the two separate buildings for a combined $18 million, received Landmarks Preservation Commission approval to gut them, and enlisted Robert A.M. Stern Architects to design the mansion. A spiral staircase from musician John Lennon's former apartment at 105 Bank Street was incorporated into the rear of the house.
