between Greenwich Street & Hudson Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 111 Leroy Street by Carter Horsley

This luxury, mid- and low-rise development at 111 Leroy Street between Hudson and Greenwich Streets in the West Village was developed in 2019 by Property Markets Group and contains 14 condominium apartments.

It was designed by Workshop/APD.

Bottom Line

Spacious condominium apartments in a mid- and low-rise contemporary development on a cobblestone street in the West Village.

Description

The low-rise section is faced with red-brick and topped with a dark steel cornice.

The mid-block, 10-story-high section is faced with light grey brick and has a setback above the 6th floor which, like the 10th floor, is topped with three horizontal lines of randomly placed dark grey brick, a nice variation on the notion of a cornice.

The townhouse section has inset, multi-paned fenestration.

The taller section, which consists mostly of floor-through units, has a two-story-high entrance.

Both sections have sidewalk landscaping and fenestration patterns with varying widths.

Amenities

The development has a 24-hour doorman and a concierge, a fitness center, a bicycle room, parking, a residential lounge and storage.  Pets are allowed.

Apartments

Each townhouse unit will have a landscaped terrace with a fire pit, outdoor kitchen and a hot tub.

One of the townhouse units has five levels with a 42-foot-long game room in the garden level, an entry foyer, living room and open kitchen with an island and a large, two-level garden on the first floor, a master bedroom on the second floor, three bedrooms on the third floor and two terraces on the fourth floor.

Residence 4 is a four-bedroom unit with 3,370 square feet, a 25-foot long living/dining room with a 17-foot-wide open kitchen with an island.

Residence 7 is a three-bedroom unit with 2,430 square feet of interior space and 940 square feet of outdoor space with a 22-foot-wide living/dining room and a 19-foot-long kitchen with an island.

A ground floor residence in the taller building has 2,038 square feet of interior space, 502 square feet of exterior space, two bedrooms, a 23-foot-wide living room and an open 14-foot-long kitchen.

A three-bedroom unit on the second floor has a 23-foot-wide living room with an 25-foot-long open kitchen with an island.
