Carter’s Review

"One of the best looking modern towers in New York, residential or commercial, the Waterford at 300 East 93rd Street on the southeast corner of Second Avenue in Yorkville commands sensational views and its neighborhood, once mostly tenements, has been constantly improving since it was completed in 1987. It is located near the entrance of the 86th Street Second Avenue subway.

Developed by Robert Gladstone and Nilin Joshi, the 221-unit condominium building was designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, a firm noted for its historic preservation projects, and Vinjay Kale."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "sky-high sanctuary" on Second Avenue offers "spectacular" city and river views from its 47 floors, with a "stunning" rooftop health club that's "worth the elevator ride." The 1987 building boasts "impressive" amenities including two outdoor decks, a "well-appointed" party room, and "convenient" guest suites for visitors. "Attentive" staff and "excellent" maintenance contribute to the "well-run" atmosphere, though the Second Avenue subway construction presents temporary challenges. Located near multiple subway lines, this "view-centric" residence provides "Manhattan living at its finest," though potential residents should note the no-dogs policy.
