This very handsome, 11-story, mid-block apartment building at 211 West 14th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues has 21 condominium units and was erected in 2016.

Adellco, which is headed by Matthew Adell, is the developer and Goldman Hill & West is the architect.

Studio Jacques Garcia is the interior designer and is well-known for its work at the La Mamounia in Marrakesh and the Hotel Costes in Paris.

Bottom Line

This mid-rise, mid-block building is one of the most elegant condominiums on 14th Street and is convenient to the High Line, Chelsea and the West Village.

Description

The building has setbacks at the 7th and 11th floors and the top 5 floors have large corner windows and all windows in the building are multi-paned.

The façades of the second through the 10th floors are face with Roman bricks that are thinner and longer than conventional bricks.

The lobby has bronze wall panels and beams, a floor of veined Silver Wave marble and strips of gold mosaic and a large decorative plaster panel depicting flowers as the focal point behind the reception desk.
