Apartments from 1st - 6th floors are dark and noisy. Facilities sub-standard: issues with electrical wiring, bathroom drainage, no roof access, elevators slow and always breaking down, no hot water several winters.
Building management incompetent: super and his son(?!) and building manager survive by doing favors for the semi-employed people on the board leading to odd rules like "no children in the lobby" and "residents can not leave luggage in the lobby while they pick up their car". Doormen helpful mostly but part-time and badly managed"

Live/Work ok. Most tenants Just LIVE. Building is 100 years old...great pre-war condo. Part time doorman 6a- 12a. Common roofdeck, private storage Easy Condo Board- standard application Prime Chelsea location. Close to A,C,E,L,1,2,3. Near restaurant row on 8th Avenue and the new Balduccis
