London Terrace Towers, #PHA (Compass) London Terrace Towers, #PHA (Compass)
The first day of spring falls on Sunday, March 20 this year, but New Yorkers are already experiencing a burst of sunnier feelings. Between the waning Omicron variant and nearly 90 percent of adult New Yorkers being fully vaccinated, the city is starting to reopen. A recent report in the Daily News found that employees are returning to the office, restaurant reservations and Broadway attendance are up, and hotel occupancy at the end of February was up almost 20 percentage points from the end of January. This comes at the same time as more daylight and warmer temperatures to make it feel like spring is already here.
Below, we take a look at newly listed apartments with spectacular city and river views. Among them is the West Chelsea penthouse of Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic, who has won eight career titles but struggled with injuries in recent years. The 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment, just listed for $9.995 million, is surrounded by wraparound terraces looking out on views of the High Line, Hudson Yards, the Hudson River, and the Midtown skyline. Interiors feature a grand entrance gallery, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a luxurious primary suite, and smart home technology. The Real Deal announced the listing and reported that Mr. Raonic bought the apartment from David Chase, creator of The Sopranos.
