Carter’s Review

"The West Village is full of nice surprises and this 17-story, red-brick apartment building is one of the few in the city with a curved façade.Erected in 1960, it was converted to a cooperative in 1981. It has 162 apartments. The handsome building, which has a concierge and a doorman and good views from its upper floors, is at the intersection of Greenwich Avenue, which runs into West Eighth Street, and the bottom of Eighth Avenue, which runs into Hudson Street. The building has a recreational roof and several terraces and some of apartments have their own gardens. The neighborhood is full of attractive restaurants and antique shops and is close to the Hudson River. It is also very close to the Chelsea district and its many restaurants and art galleries. Good public transportation is a couple of blocks north at 14th Street."

bike room, garden, storage, laundry, roofdeck, post war, 17 floors, 162 apts.

one of the most desirable locations downtown. one block to a/c/e trains, near all popular shopping and dining.
Sister building of 31 Jane Street. Beautiful roof deck, coop members plant herbs on the roof in warm weather that make it like a "community garden" for building residences.
Coop can be a bit particular for west village. No parents buying for children...
Beautiful Hudson River views from the upper floors, Lobby is somewhat non discript I would say.

Coop can be a bit particular for west village. No parents buying for children...

Prime West Village on the cusp of meat packing district. Doesnt get much better than this.
Great co-op building
