Description

The Edge is an expansive and important condominium development in Williamsburg,

Spanning two city blocks, the Edge has two towers that front on North 6th Street and North 7th Street, respectively. The 22 North 6th Street building is 30 stories and features 360 apartments, while the 34 North 7th Street structure is 15 stories and has 205 residences. The Edge was completed in 2008 and helped establish Williamsburg as one of New York City's most popular neighborhoods.

Residences at the Edge feature kitchens with energy efficient Bosch and Miele appliances, garbage disposals and white glass pantries, as well as master bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, glass showers and porcelain floor and wall tiles. Many apartments also boast private outdoor space.

Residents enjoy access to a wide array of impressive amenities including full-time doorman and concierge service. American Leisure manages the event spaces, which include a swimming area with an all-season pool, splash pool with waterfall, healing whirlpool, sauna, Turkish steam baths, an outdoor courtyard, two rooftop terraces, two fitness centers, two screening rooms, a multi-function sports facility with a full size indoor basketball court (which is also used to host soccer matches, yoga classes, ballroom dancing, and volleyball games). Additional offerings include a separate yoga and dance studio, spa treatment rooms, golf simulator, traditional and electronic gaming rooms, 24-hour doorman, on-site concierge service, children's playroom, two lounges with chef kitchens and large flat screen TVs, and full-time support staff.

Carter Horsley's Review

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This is the shorter of the two-building complex on the East River known as the Edge.  It is setback a bit and about half as high as the south tower.  This building is just to the south of a waterfront state park.

The complex has many amenities and was developed by Douglaston Development, of which which Jeffrey E. Levine is chairman.  It was designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Group." Read Carter's Full Review
