    How was this building rated?

    This very elegant, group of 8 townhouses at 88-98 Amity Street in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn was due for completion in 2018 by the Fortis Property Group of which Akiva Kobre is a partner.

    It is adjacent to the 8-story Polhemus Residences building at 100 Amity Street that was erected in 1897 and designed by Marshall Emery and converted by the Fortis Property Group in 2017. 

    W. Douglas Romines was the architect for the townhouses and Stephen Byrnes of BKSK Architects was the architect for the conversion of the landmark building at 100 Amity Street.

    The residents of the townhouses will share the amenities of the landmark building that was part of the Long Island Hospital complex.
