Carter's Review

This very attractive, mid-block, 12-story apartment house at 111 Montgomery Street in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn close to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden was due for completion in 2020. 

The building has 163 condominium apartments. 

LIVWRK is the developer and it sold 30 percent of the project in 2017 to the CIM Group last year.  According to a July 3, 2018 article at therealdeal.com, the site's previous owner was "Cornell Realty's Isaac Hager." 

Fischer + Makool are the architects and Mesarch Studio is the interior designer.

Bottom Line

A handsome mid-rise apartment building with some balconies one block away from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in Crown Heights.

Description

The building has setbacks at the 8th and 10th floors and an entrance marquee. 

The lower two floors have a dark façade beneath a light-colored façade. 

The building's plans has indentations on its sides and balconies at its ends and its center.

Amenities

The building has a doorman, a garage for 71 cars and 81 bicycles, a gym, a live-superintendent, storage, a media room, a children's playroom, a pet spa and a roof deck.

Apartments

Apartment 9E is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads past an open kitchen with a breakfast far to a 27-foot-long living room with an angled, 17-square-foot-balcony. 

Apartment 8J is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer adjacent to a open kitchen with a breakfast bar overlooking a 27-foot-long living room. 

Apartment 8B is a one-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads to a 22-foot-long living room with an open kitchen and a 70-square-foot balcony. 

Apartment 8N is a one-bedroom unit with a 19-foot-long living room with a 14-square-foot balcony and an angled window.
