80 Flatbush is a 74-story post-war rental building in Downtown Brooklyn completed in 2025. It contains 900 units and is located at 80 Flatbush Avenue between Lafayette Avenue and State Street.
One Third Avenue, located at 376 Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn is to become the world's tallest Passive House building. Developed by Alloy Development and led by architect Jared Della Valle, the 63 story mixed-use tower will have 583 apartments, including 152 affordable units on floors 11 to 60, along with retail and office space. The project completes the Alloy Block, a $500 million five building development i that includes over 1,000 homes. The finished sister tower, 505 State Street, was the city's first all-electric skyscraper. The block also includes 60,000 square feet of office space and two Passive House public schools.
Designed to be highly efficient and meet Passive House standards aimed at cutting carbon emissions, the tower rises prominently near the Barclays Center and the Williamsburg Savings Bank tower. The development is strategically positioned near the Atlantic Terminal transit hub, offering convenient access to transportation. It also includes community facilities and a 350 seat Khalil Gibran International Academy elementary and high school. The project was approved by the City Council in 2018, with adjustments made to reduce the height and density to lessen the impact on the surrounding community. The rather boxy design features a distinctive dark façade that has been described as having a Darth Vader aesthetic.

In February 2025, Alloy Development revealed plans for One Third Avenue, a mixed-use tower with 583 apartments, retail, and office space. The tower will be constructed to Passive House standards, and the project also calls for two 19th-century buildings being preserved and turned into retail space.
