The Carolina, formerly known as Lexington Gardens II, is an affordable housing rental building in Upper Manhattan's East Harlem neighborhood to be finished in 2020. According to the architects Curtis + Ginsberg, the design takes its cue from the image of the rock cliffs of the Palisades across the Hudson. Apartments will be granted through a lottery process.
