The 6-story building at 304 Bowery between Bleecker and East Houston Streets in NoHo is being converted to a residential condominium with four units with between 1,235 and 1,578 square feet.

The Sl?te Bar & Lounge occupies the retail space on the ground floor.

Two stories have been added to the four-story red-brick building, which has fire escapes on its facade on Bowery.

The mid-block building, which is known as the Bowery-Bleecker Condominium, has 2 two-bedroom, floor-through units and 2 two-bedroom duplex penthouse units with outdoor spaces. One penthouse has a balcony shared by both bedrooms and the other has a terrace off the living area and a roof terrace accessed by both bedrooms.

Apartments have cherry cabinets with glass panels, stainless steel Amana refrigerators, cooktops and ovens, Bosch dishwashers, and stackable washers and dryers.

The building is half a block north of East Houston Street where a large Avalon Bay development has a Whole Foods store, and half a block south of Bleecker Street and it is just across the Bowery from the terminus of East 1st Street.

There are numerous restaurants in the area as well as kitchen supplies stores and the Bouwerie Lane Theater is nearby as well as several major new residential projects on Bond Street.
