Construction is underway at 62 East First Street of a seven-story residential condominium building with 10 units.

The attractive building, which is between First and Second Avenues, has angled fire-escapes, an entrance marquee, a virtual doorman system and a roof deck.

Kitchens have Liebherr refrigerators, Viking stoves, Bosch dishwashers, and glass and zebra wood Pedini Italian cabinetry. Baths have Toto toilets and illuminated showers.

Apartments range in size from 873 square feet to a two-bedroom, two-bath unit with about 1,760 square feet that is priced at about $2.1 million.

Sfoghi Construction Consult. LLC of Melville, N.Y., is the developer and Nick Racanelli is its president.

Frank L. Truglio of NF Architectural Designs PLLC of Manhasset, N.Y., is the architect.
