Architecture critic Carter Horsley has described 111 Murray Street as "one of the most graceful new towers in the city in several decades." Its sculptural shape makes a dramatic statement in the downtown skyline, and the column-free design by Kohn Pedersen Fox allows residents to enjoy unobstructed skyline and river views from their well-finished homes. The building is perfectly situated on the cusp of Tribeca and Battery Park City, offering easy access to the best dining, shopping, nightlife, and transportation both neighborhoods have to offer.

However, 111 Murray Street is truly set apart by 20,000 square feet of residential amenities designed by Rockwell Group. Beauty enthusiasts were abuzz about the first-ever private Drybar, and a private patisserie with daily offerings and a professional demonstration kitchen is a true treat for residents. The newly-unveiled wellness and entertainment amenities were designed to provide the highest level of luxury living.

The tower opened its doors to residents last year. Remaining availabilities range from a one-bedroom for $2 million to a five-bedroom penthouse for $40 million. Closings have come in at an average price of $2,935 per square foot, well above the Tribeca average of $2,258 per square foot (figures per CityRealty data).

Hollander Design Landscape Architects designed the surrounding 10,600-square-foot plaza and green spaces to welcome the public and transition residents from the buzz of the city.

A recent visit shows the plaza is nearly complete. The blank wall of adjacent 101 Warren could use some love or a mural though.
