All of the 32 units at the church-to-condo development at 1255 Bushwick Avenue have entered into contract in less than five moths from the launch of sales. Homes come in studio to two-bedroom layouts and a select number feature private outdoor space. Studios were priced starting from $315K, one-bedrooms from $385K and two-bedrooms from $599K. The Tavivian Team at Douglas Elliman recently announced a majority of the units are in contract for over $900 per square foot and closings are set to begin in April. According to CityRealty's listing search, there are just 16 condos for sale in the neighborhood priced at a median of $692K ($918 / SF), and the quick sell-out at this property may be due to the low inventory.

While interiors are entirely new, the exterior features the original church facade which was restored during the conversion. Inside, the residences offer white oak hardwood floors, central heat/air, video intercoms and washer/dryer hookups. Kitchens have quartz countertops and custom cabinetry while bathrooms have reclaimed wood vanities and deep soaking tubs. The building was developed by Brookland Capital and designed by Issac and Stern Architects.
